Birmingham Labour
Birmingham Labour are committed to ambition and unity for Birmingham, because we know our city is at its strongest when we’re united.
- We’re investing in families locally, with Free School Meals covering 94,000 children, and families saved £450 a year.
- Under Labour, numbers of Community Safety Officers are being tripled, and we’re putting a named and contactable police officer in every community.
- Under our new Respect Orders, repeat anti-social offenders will be banned from our high streets, meaning that Birmingham residents can enjoy their communities to the fullest.
- Birmingham Labour are cleaning up our streets and investing in our community.
- We will end the bin dispute and reinstate recycling services.
- We’ll invest £40million in street-cleaning over the next three years, and crack down on fly-tipping.
- After losing £1billion under the Conservatives, the Labour government is helping us to revive Birmingham, with £651million going towards our essential services.
- £13million will also be spent on pothole and pavement repairs, the new Thriving Neighbourhoods fund will ensure local community projects across Birmingham, and eight neighbourhoods will benefit from a total £160million from the Pride in Place fund.
With a Labour government and Labour council, Birmingham can finally get the investment it deserves.
